Another busy Term complete. This term we baked a little, celebrated St Patricks day, mothers day, Seachtain na Gaeilge and Valentines day. We used paper folding and sweeties to learn about fractions had a few visits to Munday's, and a little fun with Mr Foleys engaging in a chess tournament, a dodge ball show down and a last man standing competition. I would like to wish you all a happy safe Easter break and as always I would like to take time and thank you all for your continued support and kindness.
The Children enjoyed a visit from the local Fisheries.

Term 1
A busy term with wonderful Kids!
In SESE we studied Space and were lucky enough to have the planetarium call with their space dome allowing us to explore in 3D. We got out and about with Ms mc Ginn, learning all about the history of Ballyshannon, the building of the Hydro Station, and the import and export of goods through the years. We also learned about the Ancient Egyptians their Pharaohs customs and traditions and all the cool things they built and invented. Tidy Towns called and we lent a helping hand in keeping the town spic and span. Thank you to Mr Sweeney and 3rd class for inviting us to their amazing Live Museum.
We celebrated Maths week with the principals puzzle, tables challenge, multiplication bingo, and snakes and ladders addition style. We made our very own tangrams and explored all the different puzzles we could make.
In English we looked at capital letters and full stops. We sorted fact from opinion, Played stop the bus and gave out a couple of pen licences too along the way. Congratulations to the winners!!!
WE have been covering Athletics in PE with a few wining medals at the cross country. We had a chess tournament with Mr Foleys class which we hope to continue next term and have begun working towards our active flag skipping across Europe. All GO!
