We have been very busy the last few weeks practicing our Christmas performance ‘The Tale of Two Birthdays’. We performed our play on Thursday for our families. A big Well Done to all the children. Miss Johnston was very proud of them, they were SUPER!
We have been getting into the Christmas spirit at school with a visit from Santa Claus, singing Christmas songs and making Christmas decorations out of clay. We are excited about going on our cinema trip this week to see ‘Zootopia 2’

September & October Second class have had a busy first term! This term, we have really been enjoying our active Maths learning. Last week, we celebrated Maths Week and went on a shape walk to find different 2D shapes. We also had great fun playing maths games with some of the 5th Class pupils. |

We enjoyed a trip to the Abbey Centre to see the movie 'Dog Man' as part of the Wainfest festival. We have also been attending Mass every second Wednesday in preparation for our First Holy Communion, and we have loved learning new songs to sing at Mass. |

We have been enjoying building our teamwork skills, playing games, and taking part in Skipping Around the World this term.
We have been learning all about Halloween traditions and the Day of the Dead, which is celebrated in Mexico. We created our own sugar skulls and pumpkin pictures.
