For any queries or information please contact our school at: [email protected] or 071 98 51689 April 30th 2025 - Rounders All County Blitz Winners!After a few years absence from the Cumann na mBunscol calendar Rounders made a welcome return in 2025 with 2 days of blitzes at the Convoy Centre of Excellence. Holy Family NS took part in the Large Schools Section and having won their group games made it through to the A Final. A great team display in the final left us as overall winners. Well done to all Rounders players in the school and thanks to the Donegal Cumann na mBunscoll Committee for promoting Rounders and getting it back on track.

Enrolment for the School Year 25/26
VEX Robotics5th and 6th class competed in the VEX Robotics regional qualifiers in Sligo on the 31st of January, winning the North West regional in ATU Sligo. They have now qualified for the National Championships in Cork on the 27th of February!
We would like to thank everyone who helped with our fundraising bake sale for our trip, we raised over €900. Thank you also to our sponsors who have collectively contributed €1450 to help with the cost of our trip.
Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Hurling & Camogie FinalsCongratulations to our pupils who took part in the Indoor hurling and camogie county finals in Buncrana on January 15th. Our girls were fantastic but were beaten at the semi final stage against the eventual winners Tooban. The boys came through a series of very tight games to finish as winners and worthy county champions. Our boys will progress to the Ulster Finals blitz later in the year.
School Uniforms are available hereChristmas Assembly 2024Cycle Bus 2024Our last Cycle Bus of the year will take place on Thursday June 13th. We are very grateful to the pupils,Holy Family staff and parents who joined us on Thursday mornings in our last term. We are especially grateful to An Garda Síochána who provided invaluable safety week in and week out. We would like to invite all parents and community people who helped out with the cycle bus to join us for tea and treats from 9:30 to 10:00 in the school hall on our last Cycle Bus Day, Thursday June 13th.
Siopa na ScoileOur ‘Siopa na Scoile/School Shop’ gives our 6th class the opportunity to run their own business, to actively use their Maths in everyday life and allows them to develop their skills in entrepreneurship. In previous years the siopa has been a great success and the children have gained greatly from the experience. Every year 6th Class use their profit to book a trip/experience to enjoy before they leave our school.
School Gaelic Football LeagueWhat a great 6 games we had in the round robin lead up to the Finals day on April 26th. The B Final between Liam's team and Leon's team was neck in neck all the way and some fantastic football played. Tom's team and Hugh's team provided more of the same quality and the future is bright for Gaelic football in Holy Family and indeed Aodh Ruadh if pupils continue to play with the same spirit and enthusiasm as we had on the day. Well done to all players.
Cycle bus is now underway for the remainder of the school year 2024Welcome aboard again to all pupils, parents, teachers and our friends in other schools who will join the Cycle Bus for 2024. Make sure to always wear a helmet and hi-vis jacket and to check tyre pressure, brakes and bike maintenance before setting out Special thanks to the Gardaí for their ongoing support of the Cycle Bus.
