Enrolment for the School Year 26/27

This school now has high speed broadband connectivity through the Department of Education School Broadband Programme, delivered as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

School Gaelic Football League

Every year we play a Winter League before Halloween captained by 4 girls from our senior classes. Our summer league takes place towards the end of the school year with 4 senior boys captaining the teams.There are 6 group stage games played after school in both leagues. A & B Finals are played on the school field during school hours. Boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class are encouraged to participate.

Holy Family Cycle Bus now in it's 5th year

Welcome aboard our Cycle Bus to all pupils, parents, teachers and our friends in other schools who will join. Please make sure to always wear a helmet and hi-vis jacket and to check tyre pressure, brakes and bike maintenance before setting out  Special thanks to the Gardaí for their ongoing support of the Cycle Bus. 

Cumann na mBunscol

Holy Family are very involved in Cumann na mBunscol activities and take part in Gaelic football, hurling and rounders every year. In 2025 we were County winners of the 7 a side hurling and the Large school Rounders. Gaelic games are at the heart of our school.

Siopa na Scoile

Our ‘Siopa na Scoile/School Shop’ gives our 6th class the opportunity to run their own business, to actively use their Maths in everyday life and allows them to develop their skills in entrepreneurship. In previous years the siopa has been a great success and the children have gained greatly from the experience.  Every year 6th Class use their profit to book a trip/experience to enjoy before they leave our school.
