Fire Safety Visit3rd class had a visit from our local fire station in Ballyshannon. Two of the firemen, Conal and Charlie gave us a talk and presented us with ‘Safety Team’ packs. They told us about the importance of having smoke alarms at home and also how important it is to be familiar with our fire escape routes at home and at school.
They showed us some of their fire equipment and let us try on their fire helmets and jackets -these actually smelt of smoke from the latest fires that had been attended. All of the 3rd class children are designated ‘Fire Deputies’ and our job is to promote fire safety at home and at school. |

Easter 2019We made Easter Baskets with Ms. McNally. We made small pompoms to attach to the basket and a big pompom for the lid. We made some Easter shapes from felt material to decorate them.
We first used them when we had an Easter Egg Hunt - we had an ‘eggtastic’ time!! |
