Welcome to Rock Hub 1 23/24
Summer Term
We have had so much fun this term from our morning walks, to Active Schools Week, various school tours, planting beans and going to Rossnowlagh beach to engage with Liquid therapy. We are very excited for our summer holidays and for the summer programme to begin after all of our hard work this year. Well done to everyone!
We have had a busy term in Rock Hub 1. We have been working so hard on our maths skills, learning our numbers, counting, addition and measuring. We have been listening to lots of Christmas stories and dressing up as shepherds, Kings, cows, donkeys, Mary, Joseph and of course we were all Little Stars.
Christmas craft creation has kept us very busy on the run up to Christmas. We made Christmas trees, stockings, salt dough ornaments, snowmen and Christmas cards. We did lots of sensory play including making snow and exploring under the sea, we also made edible treats in the form of snowmen and The Grinch.
We wish all our family and friends a very Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year!

We have had a very busy first term in the Rock Hub. We welcomed our new classmates Connor and Daithí, we established all our school routines including our sensory stations, tac-pac and our exploration of our school and the surrounding area. We particularly like exploring Park Aodh Ruadh/Mundy’s Field.
We have also spent time learning and playing with our friends from Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First and Second Classes.
Last week was particularly fun when we solved loads of maths puzzles and completed maths activities in the hall and outside.
